This website is in tribute to John Sexon, who, together with native inhabitants of the Chesapeake Bay, was instrumental in the early charting of the territory.
His knowledge of The Bay proved to be instrumental in the Continental Army’s ability to battle the British and Hessians forces, due to their stratgic advantage of knowing the land and the water.
John Sexon is rarely remembered for his many contributions, but he opened the eyes of a young America to the beauties of The Bay.
One ninor detail, though.
John Sexon never existed.
